A brief thought--
It is tragic when our world loses a visionary as remarkable as Steve Jobs. I sat this morning, silent and still, contemplating the inspiring words and actions that Jobs gave to us. In fact, I sat so silent and still that my breakfast porridge bubbled over and burned. And as I chipped the porridge off the smoldering burner and scrubbed the blackened sludge from the cast iron skillet, I had to chuckle at the metaphor.
Steve Jobs inspired us to be our own visionaries. In order to do this, we must never stop being brilliant. As his all too short life showed us, we have little time in this world. It is absolutely vital that today, tomorrow and every day we have thereafter, we stand tall and share our brilliance with the world.
What better way to honor Steve Jobs' life than to be the unique and brilliant person that you are. Go share your brilliance with someone right now.
No more time for quiet contemplation, I have stories to tell. Xx
Thank you Steve Jobs.
One of my favorites...
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs’ Stanford Commencement Address
