Especially when you have to manage errands, housework, writing deadlines, kids and you want to do some painting for yourself. It's just overwhelming and I can't stay "magical" at all!!
You can stay magical and creative, Carol! Many of us feel magical while we are in our own enchanted havens, but get drained or frustrated when we go out into the "real world." Remember: You have the power to create and live in a positive reality!
Here are some recommendations for when you're feeling overwhelmed:
1.) Play a storytelling game while you are out!
Make up wild and silly stories the next time you're stuck in traffic or standing in line at the post office. Turn the people you encounter into unique characters or give them special powers. Create outrageous backstories for everyone and write a brilliant story for your current situation.
2.) Let your imagination transport you somewhere completely different.
Guess where I go when I have to run errands? I walk on warm tropical beaches and dance to uplifting island music. Use music, smells, colorful clothing and even foods or beverages to help transport yourself to magical places! (This is also a great way to keep children occupied while you run errands. For instance, you could pretend your trip to the market is actually a magical quest!)
3.) Think positive thoughts!
When negativity enters your mind, immediately replace it with a positive thought. Choose to think positive thoughts and say positive words even if you don't feel them at first.

I said it here and I'll say it again: Share your magic and love with others! And smile! It’s the small simple things that make BIG BRILLIANT changes. If the world around you feels negative, then take control!

Become friends with fellow positive people! Interact with one another online and in person! Just find a community of people that make you feel good!
